Plain American Girls

The girls met at a grade school talent show in Burbank, CA. That summer, they started a band so they could play songs by Barbara Keith and The Stone Coyotes.  

On April 4th, 2026 they played their first gig at Whisky a Go Go on Sunset Strip with Thom Russo III and members of the original Stone Coyotes. They currently are working on their first full length album.

Autumn was born in Los Angeles, CA, she sings and plays Hammond organ.

She has been singing since she was able to talk and walk. After discovering her love of singing she entered her first talent show in kindergarten. She continued to push herself and started playing piano when she was 7 years old and Hammond organ at age 11.

Mari was born in Brooklyn, NY and plays drums, percussion and keyboards.

She began playing music at age 4, studying piano with Myla Kato-DuVally (video link) and drums with Marc Slutsky (Peter Murphy, Adam Ant). She also studies percussion/drums with Kristen Gleeson-Prata and classical music with Andrew Funcheon.
